The theme for Earth Day 2021 is Restore Our Earth which will see emphasis on emerging green technologies, natural processes and innovative thinking that can restore the world’s ecosystems.
The organisers for the 2021 Earth Day has brought realisation to the theme of restoring earth closer to home and heart – As the world returns to normal, we can’t go back to business-as-usual.
On Friday, April 9th, 2021, fortunate children from less fortunate surroundings in Kajang and Semenyih would be hosted to a two-day outing at the Semenyih Eco Venture Resort and Recreation. Sg Lalang near Semenyih, Selangor.
“It’s our way of reaching out and teaching the young value of environment and caring nature,” organiser Datuk S. Chew said.
Organised together with NGO, the Green Hero, the event would give an opportunity to families and friends to come out together and bask under the sun, moon and stars following lockdowns due to the pandemic.
The event would see jungle trekking, campfire after dinner and a host of outdoor activities at the resort.
