Apart from the usual awards for media personnel in the various categories, the National Press Club also honours individuals who are icons in the industry as well as Malaysians who play pivotal roles in uniting the nation.
Description
The National Press Club Awards saw its inception in 2010 to provide the media – both mainstream and alternative – with a more wholesome channel to reward journalists. What’s unique about these awards is that candidates are nominated by their peers. It is always good to see individuals nominating journalists from rival organisations, and this is what makes the NPC Awards all the more credible and rewarding.
